North Country
Sustainability Center, Inc.
is a very exciting, ambitious endeavor.
We are trying to rebuild our region's economy based upon the skills that
were once common to all the grassroots
Farming
Food Preparation
Arts
Music
Sewing
Woodworking
Home Repair
and more!
It can be daunting to find a place to learn these skills, and NCSC is
providing that place to serve as a resource. So far we've started
a Crafters Retail Shop, a Farmer's Market Outlet,
a Farmer's Market, a Swap Shop and an Art Gallery.
But we're not done.
We have to pay for the repairs on our leased building,
AND purchase the foreclosed riding stable and furniture factory
that will eventually house the
Kitchen,
Creamery,
Woodshop,
Dog Gym,
4H Exhibition Arena
Performance Stage,
Gardens for Education, the Disabled and the Community
and so much more!
To learn more visit the rest of our our
Main site, but right now, please
"Chip In,"
We could wait for "big government," or "big business"
to believe us, but this country was built by
cooperating neighbors and friends. - the Grassroots.
Whether it's a dollar or a lot more, every little bit helps.
The bills are piling up, and though we've done a lot,
none of the staff has gotten paid. The artists, farmers
and teachers have, but not the ones who run the whole "shbang."
Please "Chip In," and help us pay these bills,
Buy and renovate the old site,
and rebuild the economy. Once the facilities are
operating, the whole organization pays for itself, but
the "capital" phase needs your help.
All donations are tax-deductible as
NCSC is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Check out the full website, and then
Chip In!
Thank you.
What do you get out of this?
A. a place to go to learn the skills yourself.
B. a place to start that dream if yours if you live in New England
C. a "model" to learn from, so other regions can do what we're doing.
D. the knowledge that there is a place where people matter and can make a difference
in a scary time.

Thank You!
