Volunteering for NCSC
While North Country Sustainability Center exists to build a sustainable
economy for our region, volunteerism is a critical part of that goal.
Volunteers teach young people what civic engagement can do.
It's a wonderful way to gain experience, and learn a new skill without
being held responsible the way an employee would be.
We need volunteers to help in the areas of:
Gardening; ie. watering, weeding,
Maintenance; ie. painting, cleaning, repairs and landscaping
Swap Shop; processing and organizing clothing and goods
The Porch and The SchoolHouse Gallery; ie. staffing information
desks and helping visitors.
Publicity; ie. mailings, media contacts,
Hospitality; ie. hosting activities, helping with meals and meetings
